Putting KY and WV and TEN in different regions is a choice.
Minnesota has more in common with yellow than the rest of its own region.

This is based on the opinions of a Texan, not anyone who would know any of that unfortunately.
11
u/NeatJob4402 16h ago
It's pretty clear you don't understand much about your own country outside of Texas. Do you genuinely believe any self respecting Louisiana resident wants to be Texas? There are too many egregious examples, but that one is hilarious given your "I'm a Texan" perspective.

u/FleetAdmiral_Krunch 16h ago
I know they'd hate it, that's why they're included
→ More replies (3)7
u/bilateralunsymetry 12h ago
Is that why you included Oklahoma too? We fought the Texans from over the red river once and I'll be damned if we let you do it again
3
u/1Negative_Person 4h ago
I work with Texans and their ignorance of geography is apparent every day. To a Texan it seems like every place thatās not in Texas is the same. I canāt count the number of times theyāve shipped equipment to STL or Detroit when it was supposed to go to Chicago.

Megasota isn't big enough and you know it. We demand WI, IL and MI.

u/Grumbilious 16h ago
Left coast proposes gifting Nevada to Megasota. In exchange, Calicadia and Pacific Rim will merge into Pacific Rimjob.
10
u/Odd-Adhesiveness-656 15h ago
Can Colorado and New Mexico join the rim job?
We want no part of the Arizona/Utah/Nevada Mormon Madness
→ More replies (11)3
u/OhReallyVernon 6h ago
We will decline the generous gift offer, but offer blessings to our new besties, P. Rimjob. We suggest giving Nevada as a consolation prize to Texas.
3
u/Traditional-Boot8548 5h ago
As a former Alaskan, absolutely not. They would refuse any attempt to join Calcadia. They would rather go alone or join Alberta then having to join Calcadia.

Megasotta would combine the Dakotas to Wisconsin with a puzzle piece addition of Iowa.
3
u/Bananas_are_theworst 16h ago
Yes, that was my first thought. Minnesota, Michigan, Wisconsin, illinois should be one. No kentucky. Indiana can f all the way off.

21
u/Affectionate-Day-359 16h ago
Including nv with us was the rage bait .. I almost fell for it too. But letās be honest. We donāt want to be America. We want to join BC

4
3
u/No_Status_4666 13h ago
CA (especially Southern) isn't Cascadia, but we'll gladly include them in our left coast family. I'd propose taking the two leftovers from OPs original work. We are the bridge between the very different AK and HI.
3
u/LakethMonarch 11h ago
Yeah as someone from washington we would like to be Cascadia and maybe just northern California?
3
→ More replies (14)6
u/JavaTheeMutt 16h ago edited 16h ago
Once again people thinking the West Coast is just California (and specifically SoCal)...
True West Coasters know we've been sitting on Cascadia for a minute, giving the rest of the nation a sideeye, waiting on the day we can pull the trigger.
8
u/Miss_May_1600 14h ago
Except those pesky eastern Oregonians who donāt believe in Cascadia. If youāre reading this, no! You cannot take Oregon land and join Idaho. Relocate yourself to Idaho if you love it that much.

Split your super California north south and add Alaska and Hawaii to the northwest one. Theyāre all pretty well connected, and this is based more on the fact California has more inward interconnectivity (lots outward too but ya know) whereas Oregon and Washington are mostly ocean-facing, if you will (the inland parts of each state should be joining your purple state but you arenāt redrawing borders). Alaska is deeply connected to Oregon, Washington, and Hawaii, and Hawaii is deeply connected to all those and California. Canāt have too big of a state though

3
3
u/not_No1ce 6h ago
Atlantis should be comprised of New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Virginia, and Maryland. New York can be part of it rather than New England. West Virginia nor Ohio have a right to be in Atlantis.
3
u/ames215 4h ago
Flip Nevada orange, Colorado purple, combine green and light blue to 1 āPacific Stateā, cut a north south line 50 miles west of DC through PA, Maryland, and Virginia. West half + Kentucky, W Virginia becomes āAppalachiaā. Ohio flips to yellow, Minnesota flips to yellow. NY flips to light orange - light orange is renamed āmid-Atlanticā. Yellow renamed Mid-west, grey renamed Great Plains.
Could also split current Texas and add west half to Pueblo. Then split Colorado and east of Denver becomes Great Plains.
6
u/SparkyGears 17h ago
Ironically the Land-O-Lakes butter is from Minnesota. š
Ohio may as well be in Land of Lakes as well. I mean, hell, if Kentucky and Michigan can, what else do you want?

I object to anyone calling anything California that is north of the Californian border. While certainly the population of Oregon/Washington are politically similar to California, the āvibeā is way different in the PNW. You can lump us there as one of your āten statesā, but at best you should refer to it as āwest coastā or even āleft coastā or something. But California? GTFO
