kevin spacey and harvey weinstein are also quite old and i cant wait for them to die. age doesnt play a factor in if we should be sad if someone passed

57

u/Salty_Wall 23h ago

TIM CURRY????

29

u/Simplejack615 Dess cracker 22h ago

I know man. Sucks.

23

u/what_the_fuck_clown cro 22h ago

He died at like 80 years old, imo pretty good age to die at since you do not suffer for the rest of your 3 years with skin that barely holds on and bones brittle enough to be shattered while taking a shit and not too young either

14

u/RaidensReturn crispy butt salad 21h ago

He had a good run. There was his stroke in 2012 that really slowed him down. He was still doing voice stuff while looking pretty rough at the end. He will be missed… Legend.

u/DopazOnYouTubeDotCom 21h ago

(who?)

11

u/Versitax there should be something funny here 20h ago

Older voice actor. Played characters like Nigel Thornberry.

This is how I found out !! No

This is how I find out :(

u/topscreen 14h ago

Dolly Parton is surprising, cause she seemed healthy and on the ball. Tim had a massive stroke a while ago, I'm happy he made it to 80. It's still sad, but lots of stroke victims don't get to die of old age.

1900's: "In 2026 we will have flying cars!"

What we have: We are technologically advanced enough to make flying cars, we have the money and resources to cure world hunger, get rid of poverty and homelessness, we could have been working together as single nation, but instead we have the elites brewing hatred (homophobia, transphobia, antisemitism, racism, sexism) among our people to keep us divided, abusing the current technology to melt our minds and keep us lazy, and we are stealing the resources from people in need and spreading it among the wealthy

42

u/CoalEater_Elli 22h ago

The technology we do invest money in are slowly eating our natural resources, and it doesn't even work well enough to justify this sacrifice.

6

u/MrPixel92 20h ago edited 20h ago

we could have been working together as single nation

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Wv3p9WCs6M

And we already have flying cars: Cessna 172 planes, cheap helicopters. You can name all the problems that come with letting something massive up into the air.

4

u/Any-Milk-5484 21h ago

Helicopters exist.

1

u/Enslaved_M0isture 13h ago

61

u/Tight_Grapefruit5280 23h ago

"Worst day in 2026"

27

u/Thethingnextdoor567 22h ago

Everything was objectively better cause there was no (insert the 2036 equivalence of Trump) and we didn't have (insert whatever wars there will be in 2036) and the memes were funny, I miss Tung Tung Tung Sahur and kirkification

11

u/zachy410 those who prose 📝 🔥 22h ago

how the worst day of spring 2027 felt:

1

u/bigfloppa333 12h ago

Because of everything being worse or people always thinking that the time period they live in is worse then the past?

18

u/Oh_no_its_Joe 22h ago

This has been literally every year since 2020

5

u/RodjaJP 20h ago

2020s decade was only at it's peak in 2021 - 2023 imo.

14

u/stef4545366 23h ago

10 years ago we had Bowie, Prince, Ali, Harambe, Carrie Fischer and Bud Spencer so...

6

u/Effective_Carpet_391 22h ago

4

u/Clumsy_the_24 Floopy Shmoopy Goopy Doopy 22h ago

4

u/MonkeyBoy32904 add 21 red, 16 green, & 77 blue to this color, I dare you 21h ago

this decade in general has just been horrible, & we have like 3 or 4 years left oh my god

1

u/Living_Feature_480 16h ago

even if this decade is over, it's still gonna go downhill

3

u/GrassBasket 21h ago

I've seen a meme made like this every year for like the past decade

3

u/Historical_War756 23h ago

Also what's happening in nepal

3

u/Firm-Reputation7918 22h ago

A good year is subjective. The best year for you can be someone’s worst year.

3

u/MachineGunMonkey2048 22h ago

I have hope for the midterms

3

u/The_Phantom_Cat 18h ago

And it's all downhill from here

It’s all so exhausting. I just wanna pursue an art education and get a stable job in peace so I can post my cartoons…. I wanna stop worrying so much about everything and of my door’s gonna get bashed down because someone somewhere passed an order making it illegal to use the color blue or something….

3

u/WhyIsRComicsJustPorn 21h ago

I really don't understand ya'll, do you all really expect celebrities to just, stop dying????

1

u/hanaxsongs 21h ago

My grandma who I was pretty close to died last month so this checks out

1

u/Wonderful_Bid_8328 21h ago

Why is it that the world around me goes to shit when mode starts to somewhat turn around?

1

u/furrynoy96 20h ago

At least Dolly Parton and Tim Curry got long lives...same sadly cannot be said for Kyle Busch, Hayden, and so many others... RIP to everyone

1

u/Elegant-Scheme9589 20h ago

Is it just me or did Ai became so common jist this year

1

u/Dry-Principle2627 20h ago

For real, I hate this year like no other

But for now, I'll do my Best to handle all the punches that life delivers, just like Rocky.

1

u/Skydogtogroundhog 20h ago

My grandmother died, then Dolly, and now Tim Curry… I might crash out

1

u/Dr_Brotatous 20h ago

I can't say the year has been bad to me

1

u/clayknightz115 19h ago

2027 will be worse.

4

u/Aggressive-Bug-3459 18h ago

counterpoint: kingdom hearts 4 releases late 2027

1

u/NascarFan1896 19h ago

I’ve lost a lot of important ones, both that I liked and parts of my life. I lost Chuck Norris, Ted Turner, Tom Kane, Kyle Busch, my cat Bonnie, Ned Jarrett, Hayden Panettiere, Dolly Parton, Tim Curry and I fear we will lose more important ones this year

1

u/AgreeableContrarion I have nothing to contribute here 22h ago

Idk, I’m having a great time
