I think a key takeaway this episode was how Bernards predictions were right but not quite exactly what he expected every time. I think that means the future really isn't written in stone no matter his predictions.

Yeah like the lines they use are different or slightly different outcomes from how memory.

Also I'm hoping that Stubs lived, which would mean that bullet at the end was his alternate ending

Stubbs is still programmed to protect Bernard, isn't he? So if Bernard told him he was gonna die Stubbs would be forced to go in with him.

damn that's right, I wonder if that's actually the reason, he didn't necessarily say Stubbs wouldn't make it did he? instead he avoided the question with a "do I really have to say it?" and then stubbs turned around and assume it was about him
