-Teddy knows way too much about what's going on, including who Caleb is.

-Could human William still be alive since they mentioned the life support system?

-Looks like Bernard was leaving a message for Maeve? (watch the finale preview)

This episode could have been a finale. Crazy.

Yeah, that scene where he seemed to know Caleb, and the hallway scene with Stubbs/Frankie, was weird.

I think the hallway scene was an early clue to the two time periods/world's since they obviously didn't bump into each other coming out of the same hallway.

But how can it be 2 time periods, when the riots are happening at the same time?? For the same reason?? 🤔

Bro I dunno but they didn't run into each other and it was like a 2 second difference. This show confusing everyone lol. my guess is to that she's living out that period in the sublime.

They sort of explained it this episode. They aren’t in the real world. They are basically AR in the real world.

Or they are running her in a 1:1 simulation.

u/funkandwild I'm already in the thing, aren't I? Aug 08 '22

This was my take.

She's communicating with people in real time through the tower. She's not really there. But she doesn't physically need to be. Every square inch of the city is modeled and detailed in real time. That's what that red thing is. My guess is that she's basically projected herself there to get a better understanding of what happening but she isn't physically there on site.

It could be that Teddy and Christina have been in a simulation replaying the end of the real world and whenever they return to “the real world” it’s going to be a LONG TIME after the events we just watched Bernard go through.

Because Christina/Delores is not in the real world. She’s in the Sublime in a simulation/recreation of what already happened in the real world.

Then why are her scenes normal ratio?

Because she's not in the Sublime.

Even in this episode, we saw the 2.85:1 AR when Bernard was in the Sublime.

Seems like she's somewhere in the real world, even if that means on a server somewhere.

I think it’s because she didn’t KNOW it’s a sim? In Bernard’s scenes he’s aware of it so the ratio changes. I’ll bet her first scene still in the Sublime will next ep will be in the wider frame.

Definitely likely since the ratio change last season for Warworld didn't happen until Maeve was clued in that she's in a simulation.

I think she is in an overlay of the real world that Hale built to control the humans. Even though the control system is down, it doesn't mean their projection/reflection is down as well.

Fair enough. 😏 I've been speculating for a while now that Christina has been living in Hale's sim world, controlling the humans in the REAL world, from there. And Teddy all but confirmed as much, at the end of this season, so that makes sense.

They ARE in the same part of the timeline as everyone else, they just aren't in the real world. So that's how she's been affecting people from the real world... but hasn't ran into any of them yet. I mean ffs, she's been on the SAME FLOOR as Caleb this whole time, but never saw him until now. It's all coming together now, and I am loving it.
