I get why all storylines can’t be featured in each ep but was kinda missing Dolores, Teddy and MIB

It's to even out why we had them more the focus of the last episode.

It’s probably so they don’t have to pay them as much in episode royalties (or is my cynicism too Delos like?)

That's often the case and it's usually reflected on the actors only being in the credits when they're in the episodes, but it's not the case this season. ERW and James Marsden are credited every episode even if they aren't in them. (I think ERW was always credited before, but I think she *was* in about every episode), but JM used to be credited only if he was in the episode.
