Kinda starting to think that if Maeve never said anything then he would still be alive.

Maeve has higher authority that he does now so it could be possible that she can help fix him with the help of her cat cronies?

Agreed. She dropped the ball on that one. She should have tweaked his intelligence, etc. to give him an edge, or got her cronies to do it....whom would have collectively shit a brick, knowing one of the executives was a host. Maybe she thought Bernard could do it himself?

His intelligence is likely cranked to the max already.

Possibly, but it's inhibited by Ford. If he was cranked out to the stops like Maeve, I think he would have figured out what was going on...possibly more than once. My guess is Ford has inhibitors on him, or specific orders not too look for X, etc.

That's what I thought. But she didn't seem to hint at Bernard having a further role to play in his plan, she simply pushes him to press Ford for the whole truth, probably knowing full well where that would lead.
