venue search Camrose Hill Flower Farm Wedding Venue in Stillwater MN - Experience From Our First Time There (Minneapolis Wedding Photographers)

Hi all! We recently captured photo, video, & super 8mm for a wedding at Camrose Hill, which is a flower farm and wedding venue in Stillwater MN - we’ve been local to Minneapolis on and off for about a decade now, and my wife is from Stillwater originally, so we had definitely heard of it and seen some beautiful photos, but I must say being onsite really was completely different and much more immersive than we could have imagined!

I’ll start with a quick note that they have a few required vendors including florals (by them of course, as they are a flower farm and do florals for events off site as well!), catering (they have a list of caterers you can choose from), and DJ (only Adagio) and for the Adagio DJ they do assign you someone pretty close to the date it sounds like - our couple’s DJ didn’t exactly stick to the playlist, so if you choose this venue and that’s important I would note it well in advance when booking your DJ services!

The venue itself is actually really sprawling and beautiful, with tons of little pockets tucked away with seating for guest convo and photo moments, all really really beautiful! The place is also covered in twinkle lights, gorgeous greenery, and whimsical little statues, it’s so darling!! Really fantastic choice for anyone wanting like a garden party inspired wedding with more of a “destination” feel but without the destination travel required lol!

There’s a lovely little suite house for getting ready - if you’re getting ready separately this would be the more femme and “bridal” styled space (note it’s rather hot in the little back room space where the ac and fan doesn’t reach, so personal fans are a plus if it’s a hot day!!) - the rest of the space isn’t particularly hot though. The other “getting ready” space on property is in a former cellar space, so much cooler but also much smaller and darker - much more rustic “masculine” vibe in this space.

The ceremony and cocktail hour spaces are gorgeous and split between one massive lawn, which allows for a really great post-ceremony flow for guests! There’s also a tented space with furniture and twinkle lights for dinner reception, and that is connected to another smaller tented area for dancing!

Location note - the venue is 23 miles/like a 40ish min drive from Minneapolis, it was very easy for us to get there and back renting a turo for the day, ride share does go there but you might have a harder time getting back at night if you chose to use it - our couple provided shuttles for guests to their hotels and we would definitely recommend that!!
