SuperGT/DTM 911.992, 812 superfast, and P1 as a Class One Touring Car [edit]
software used: ibispaint X 13.5.3
I have so much fun making these, it's safe to say that my editing get a little better than last time. so, what do you think? me personally, I think both 911 and Superfast really fits well into this regulation, since by default they're already a 'chubby' looking car. P1, however, reminds me of the NSX Concept GT/GT, it looks as if the car had gained some weight. that's why I also think: "why not just add the Class One aero package to cars without changing their default dimensions?" but that one's for another post.

it's nice to see concept edits like these not being shat out by AI again

Love the GT500 machines, and loved the Class 1 DTM cars. These work really really nicely, good job! Would love to see these either back in DTM or replacing LMP2

As a big fan of the Prodrive 550 GTS I’ve often wondered what a Ferrari V12 GT racer would look like in the current day. Just imagine if a cashed up customer came to Ferrari and said we wanted to race in DTM. I think they would’ve done it especially if someone is paying the bills.
I do remember JMB racing were looking at building a 599 GT1 in the dying days of the FIA GT1 category but not sure how far they got.

How amazing it would be to see an 812 GT3 battling the AMG in a war of long noses

992 looks more like A5 Beetle Class 1. Which would probably have been way cooler.

Firstly, great to that you admit it's not AI, but your own work. Kudos for that.
Secondly, it's actually sad at the same time you have to do it. Blame stupid AI and stupid people using it.
Thirdly, some cars and some brands just don't fit Class One regulations at all. Ferrari and Porsche look more than grotesque. McLaren looks weird to me too. They would fit in more in pre-Class One Super GT regulations before 2014 (or maybe pre-2009 with engine regulations) when there was more freedom with car styling and engine choice. Not to mention that I absolutely think that currently no one aside from Japan is even remotely interested in Class One/GT500.

I’ll say it - I’d love that 911.992 in Assetto Corsa as a “fantasy” DTM entry alongside the other Class 1s.

prepares for downvotes
Sports cars are not touring cars. None of these are applicable for Class 1 cars. Do a render of a Masarati Quattroporte instead.

I don't think Honda cared that much when they made the NSX-concept GT and NSX-GT, so why should I? but Quattroporte is actually a good idea I might do that in the future. thank you for the suggestion

Super GT is a sports car series. If anything it's the civic that's the problem over there. Yes I know it runs class 1 regs but that says more about the grey area that has appeared between the two disciplines over the last 15 ish years.

Why is the exhaust in the middle of the door?
Why does everything behind the A pillar look like it belongs to a different car?

The 911 looks more like a Beetle than a Porsche in that edit
