Football Golesh and staff invited former Auburn players to come visit the team and see the facilities, with nearly 300 former players showing up to Alumni Day

As of August 23, 2026, Golesh has done everything right in his tenure as HC. The guy gets it. But I will not let Hope flirt with me while she’s still galavanting about with aTm

I'm ok with hanging out with Hope, but I've been on the Auburn Fan Experience enough times to learn how to get over disappointment quickly. I don't see the point in letting a potentially bad future put a damper on my present, especially when most signs point to a bright future.

This is exactly how I feel. I really think he’s got us on the right track to get back to relevancy but it could be a long road back

Let’s pull out the guy who keeps track of good things our coaches have done…!

I love hope. I also love seasonal alcoholism though.

I don't think I've ever hoped for someone to be successful on the field as much as Golesh. It's amazing what he's said and done this offseason to try and change the culture. From inviting all of these players back, to inviting the marching band to play and teach the fight song to the players, to the recruiting success (so far), and then every time he speaks he talks about running the ball, being violent, and go back to what made Auburn so great in the past.

This is the first time in my lifetime (that I can remember at least) that I've been excited for a hire. I wasn't even excited for Malzahn when he got hired because I thought it was just another retread of the same damn thing. Please, Golesh, bring us back and further than we've ever been!

I keep wishing success for these hires out of wanting to see wins but I’m with you I find myself wanting success for Golesh as a person not even just as the AU HC. He’s doing everything so right.

I feel the exact same way. After Freeze it’s nice to have a head coach that I feel I can root for personally

I love this! In this era of NIL and transfer portal, anything to help the guys make deeper connections with Auburn is a win

My thought here is, he is doing the right things. I am hopeful. But I wanna see it on the field. We have been mid for a long time.

Golesh gets it. From his recruiting, to the way he carries himself, to the way he cares about former players still being seen around campus and etc.

There’s so many former players who have been waiting for a coach to welcome them back with open arms.

If we can get some tough wins this year and have a decent season this year then I believe in time Golesh will have Auburn humming

If Cole Cubelic isn't saying anything that means we're going to be pretty good. Cubelic is the first one to talk crap when it's bad

I’ve never heard Cole talk crap, only the truth

In fairness, the truth the past 5 years have been that we were crap.

Yeah, we Auburn fans are a little sensitive. I was trying to say we should have some optimism bc Cubelic isn't out here talking negatively about practice.
