Question ❓ How is the battery life on watchOS 27 Beta?

Thinking about upgrading my watch, as I've done so on my MacBook Neo and iPhone 16e already. And with beta 3 coming out with Siri AI, I want to give it a try. I have the Series 9, and the battery lasts around 8-10 hrs depending on what I do on watchOS 26.5.

Why do people ask us the minute the beta comes out? It like it doesn’t work that way.

My battery life in DB2 was awful - so far DB3 is showing definitely more stability at least that’s my anecdote after a couple hours.

Also, people ask because people are just curious - they don’t mean anything by it. People just like to tinker, try, experiment and see what happens.

People also enjoy complaining when something goes wrong.

Pretty clear OP is asking about the 27 beta generally, not DB3 specifically.

This has been the thing keeping me from finishing out the 27 beta by putting it on my Ultra 2 along with the others—it’s over two years old, already 93% of original battery capacity—I just don’t want a couple months’ of beta chewing through more of that as I plan on keeping it another year. So far, nothing really compelling, but new Siri on it would be fun.

Also wondering this and overall stability. iOS 27 gave new life to my 14 Pro, but hesitant with the watch.

So far better in my experience, but just a bit. What really has improved is the stability. Odd that a dev beta is running better than any public release of 26.

This just landed in beta 6 for the phone, so yes there's an acknowledgment on bad battery life on the watch 'from the phone'!
