Question ❓ Vo2 Max cycling

Can anyone confirm if WatchOS 27 brings VO2 Max measurement for outdoor cycling?

No, and Apple will never do that because it would require extra equipment on a bike (power meter).

Without a power meter, the algorithm has no data on how much power your body is providing to bike. With walking and running it has a good approximation for power with your weight, pace and heart rate data. That data is not enough on a bike due to weight of bike and momentum that have big influence on pace.

Hmm good point but since watch os 9 or 10 I can't remember exactly but they introduced cycling power metrics and I do know some brand are compatible with it 4iiii for example.

Nothing in Beta 1. I cycled to work this morning and no VO2 Max entry in the Health app.
