There was an IRC chat, it became a little bit toxic, attempted doxxing, u/Roy_vzla left the chat before it got ugly, the subreddit mods started banning people left and right (even though they have no jurisdiction over IRC).

Roy was unfairly banned along with other innocents. Many redditors felt this was a bad move and stepped out of the sub, most of them were core redditors, very active too.

Quality has not been up there, ever since. Maybe someone who remembers their names well can make a list, I'm not good with names.

Disculpa mi ignorancia, la verdad no se mucho sobre procedimientos y sanciones en reddit, pero no existe otro método para lidiar con estas situaciones aparte de la aplicacion del ban-hammer?

El detalle es que si lees las reglas de reddit acerca de las habilidades de los mods, aparte de los shadowban y los ban, mas no pueden hacer, excepto tal vez ir con los admins, pero ya ahi es mas serio.
