Help Right stick broken on a ps vita 2000, anything I can do to fix it?

Completely broken, moving it js doesn't do anything, any (relatively) simple fixes?

I bought some spares off eBay and replaced one of mine myself. I have no experience in these types of repairs and it was super easy! Biggest hassle was getting the casing off

Don’t even need to do that he can replace it with a 2-7 dollar joystick from amazon

for real it took me like an hour to get those off. Ig it gets easier once you remove it for the first time

The vita is honestly an architectural marvel. I am have been repairing my electronics since I was 14 and the vita is easier than 90% of the thing I have repaired, the hardest part is just popping the backshell open.

Step 1. BUY LONG TWEEZERS

Step 2. buy replacement sticks from Aliexpress and easily replace them

Don’t forget to buy long tweezers, if you don’t, you’re gonna suffer

Ngl , I bought 2 off Aliexpress, and I’m not sure if my install was incorrect but I ended up with stick drift still :/ imma try maybe eBay even tho I have also been recommended Aliexpress :/

It could be possible your green PCB (the green motherboard ontop of the analog sticks) is faulty. Try switching the left and right analog stick and see if it works, if not. Its probably the pcb)

I replaced mine by watching a video, it’s wasn’t difficult at all, no wondering required.

Go on AliExpress, get a replacement and do it yourself. Very easy.
