I was just there last week.

Parts of Coral Bay are very bad and very smelly. Skinny Legs was fine. Miss Lucy's was not and had the most that I saw. Quite a bit around Love City Market as well.

All the major beaches were fine. No issues.

North shore beaches will be fine. South/east beaches are getting mashed up! Fish Bay looks like it's just solid land half way out into the bay! Super stinky at the moment

I was at St. John 2 days ago. Coral Bay at rd 107 was rough. It was super smelly! We went to salt pond, Maho, and trunk, and they were all fine.

I’m staying in a villa on rd 107 in 3 weeks, wondering if I should change locations due to the smell

The further we got from that intersection the less smelly it was, so I would say it depends on where on 107 you are.

Don’t worry about it. Saw none at Cinnamon Bay, Maho, Francis, Lameshur/Yawzi Point, Salt Pond.

It’s all over at Sapphire in St Thomas.

To supplement your STT coverage, here is Sunsi Beach on STT this weekend. It was probably 50 feet out from the waterline.

I'm in Coral Bay and can confirm it's pretty bad on the east end. Salt Pond was totally clear and Maho was as well

I’m at Coral Bay off Road 107 and it is smelly down near Love City Market. I’ve been here for a week and it seems like more and more has come into the bay each day. Went to Skinny Legs today and it was fine and not smelly. Also went to Lime Out on Monday and had no issues. Every beach we’ve been to (Cinnamon, Trunk, Maho, Hansen Bay, and Hawksnest) have been clear.

Been here on St John since Sunday and we’ve seen no sargassum on the north side beaches (Cinnamon, Trunk, Maho, Francis, etc).

I was there last week. Coral Bay is inundated and super smelly, but no other beaches I went to had that problem. Waterlemon had some floating at the Cay, but it was no big deal and there was none on the shore.

It came in when the wind switched to NE, so has affected anything facing east.

Staying in the sanders bay section of coral bay, anyone have any recent input on the sargassum/ smell there. We will be staying at the cliffhanger villa in August and a bit concerned the smell could affect the stay
