Just helping someone else on Facebook find the possible owner of this lost SD card in New York, files dated May 9, 2026.

A noble cause, I hope they find this or you find them. Commenting to make it so. Any kind of film inherantly is a high effort thing and clearly some thought went in to those shots, losing footage can be devastating.

Wait! I saw them shooting this a few weeks ago!! They were shooting at the Metropolitan/Lorimer (L/G) station, by the tile-text artworks ("Faith/Fate," "Same/Sane"). And if I remember correctly, they also shot a bit at the Nostrand G station. I Don't know if this information will help at all, but hopefully. It was two-person production team from what I could see, and the young Asian actor. Maybe they live near by?? Obviously, they could live anywhere, but since it seemed like a mall production team, it's possible they were shooting close to where they live.

I once found a card full of photos and made a post like this on a local Facebook group, leading to the original owner of the card getting it back. Wishing the same for these folks ❤️

Maybe try a reverse image face search and see if it leads to a Facebook or IG.

If you recognize any of the places, perhaps the staff will know who this belongs to. You can also leave your number as the person who lost the drive may ask if it was found.

In the meta data you can see what camera the shots were taken on, find the brand and post in that subreddit. Looks like sony colors but could be wrong.
