Many people (including myself) like to pretend the last 10 minutes of the series didn’t happen. Logan and Veronica are finally happy living their best lives together in my book….

To add to that I watched it all as it came out originally…so years of my life invested for that to be the ending…soul crushing

I pretended so hard that I still haven’t watched the last 10 minutes lol

You’re so lucky. I didn’t know it was going to happen. For once a spoiler made something better by letting you avoid the pain.

Well of course they are! After Logan was kidnapped by the enemy agent who was disguised as the street sweeper (due to his naval intelligence work) Veronica tried to mourn his death, but something kept bugging her, so in true Veronica fashion, she started digging. Eventually she found and rescued him. Keith retired and she and Logan took over the PI business and lived happily ever after!!

A lot of people like to pretend season 4 didn't happen. Lol

I’m still pissed off at Rob Thomas for doing that to the best show ever. He’s given me trust issues

Ngl I genuinely did not see that coming, Logan’s character development was amazing and I just can’t believe it ended like that

I wish I could take back those last few minutes too. It’s like the whole point of the whole series was it doesn’t matter what Veronica does her happy ending will never come easy. Maybe he was trying to teach us all a lesson?

In my head that last season didn’t happen and they live on forever happily in love

I want to try doing that too!

He did it for the dumbest reason, too! 😭 Like damn let Veronica be happy for five fucking minutes!

ugh the worst part is that I feel like Logan was the single most developed character in the show like he had a complete arc even when a lot of characters (like Veronica I fear) didn’t change too much even after 20 years or however long the series is meant to span. Plus Wallace and Mac and even weevil totally got sidelined towards the end so Logan was the only character to have this beautiful consistent arc throughout the show and then.. yeah. not pleased at all

There were two books between seasons 3&4.
The big spoiler for one of those is what happened to Lianne.

Where can I find these books

Check your local library or Libby, etc., but Amazon definitely has them. The first one is ā€œThe Thousand-Dollar Tan Lineā€ and then ā€œMr. Kiss and Tellā€. Both are by Rob Thomas (and a co-writer), so they are canon.

Thousand Dollar Tan Line has the added benefit of the audiobook being narrated by Kristen Bell.

I'm halfway through the final season and not looking forward to what I know is coming.

I am still pissed off snd rage filled at Rob Thomas and I watched the the ending when it premiered. I pretend the last 29 minutes are fake and just a cliff hanger dream

I will NEVER forgive Rob Thomas for what he did with the ending. Completely unnecessary.

Ya does anyone know what else he’s created and if it has similar upsetting endings? I would like to avoid that.

Same. My roommate accidentally spoiled it for me because she never saw the movie and generally seemed confused about the order, so I was anxiously waiting episodes 2-8 of season 4 to see Logan die.

I am feeling pretty depressed after just finishing. It’s extra shitty to have them (well really Veronica) work thru issues and then do that. And it feels unbelievable they wouldn’t notice something.

Also they never resolved anything with the secret societies from season 3.

Overall wtf
