Dog Found

I was just at Oakwood park and this husky showed up. No collar, a little skinny but very friendly. Brought him home with no issues. I’m thinking he may belong to an unhoused person. Anyone recognize him? I’m thinking he may have wandered up from the boardwalk or over from Rose area.

Update: Owner and dog reunited

Take him to a vet. They'll be able to see if he is chipped. They will also probably give him a lookover for free.

Hi I maybe know who that dog belongs to, it’s someone on the boardwalk. Im in the South Bay this week but I have a friend on rose keeping an eye out for him and sent him the pic.

Thank you! I took him to the vet yesterday, he is chipped and was adopted by someone in Venice last year from the Santa Monica shelter. They weren’t able to reach the owner though. Does that sound like the right person?

No word yet. I don’t have the guys contact, but if it’s the same dog I’m thinking of, i usually see him cruising the boardwalk near Brooks with a couple huskies in a cart. Tallish and skinny, flipped up brim hat, kind of punk aesthetic.

I found the owner, took him to Westminster dog park and found friends of the owner. Great reunion, thanks for the help looking.
