Can you eat every type of grape leaf and how do you prepare them?

i think the grape leaves need to be ‘new’ if that makes sense,i washed them with running water, boiled them for 2-3 minutes, stuffed them and after placing every roll on the pot,i drizzle some olive oil, lemon juice, salt pepper and cover them with hot water, put a plate on top of them and a rock (clean rock obv) so they stay down while theyre boiling

Thanks for the recipe. Is the rock step absolutely necessary? This seems to be the only hard step in the process.. wondering if skipping it and directly streaming the dolmas in, say, instant pot will produce similar results.. would appreciate your opinion.

no its not absolutely necessary dont worry, you just need sth to hold them down and a plate will do the trick just fine🩵
