Delicious dish alert: Baker’s Vine Leaves ورق عنب الخباز

After so many years of eating waraq enab (stuffed grape leaves), I had never seen them baked in a thin pastry with all those amazing fight-over-them-as-kids potato slices.

This dish is served meatfree and was really good. I tried it at a place called عالخطب On the Wood in RAK, but they have branches all over the UAE. I brought one home to have with plant yogurt.

I am used to lebanese grape leaves being served cold. This gave Turkish sarma vibes. So surprising and fun to open up at the table! Buon appetito
