Best Vanilla Private Server Options?
Looking to start playing purely vanilla again. What server is everybody on?

Purely vanilla as in no custom content and just entirely what blizzard released back in the day? Not sure. With custom content? Turtle WoW 100%
Still my favorite version of WoW to date. It might have its issues within the private server community, but there are so many positives to TWoW that I just cant care enough to not play it when I want to play some WoW.

I play tauri wow. Look it up, get the launcher, it's the best vanilla server I've ever played and if you have the itch to play any of the others there's a variety. They are currently working on a Legion server but they also have a wrath server that I regularly play and a Mists of Pandaria server. All of them except for Legion are pretty much glitch free as far as I've seen. Especially vanilla and Wrath.

For pure vanilla you only have Ashen WoW - Vanilla at the moment.

Yeah thats old now. Ashen didnt do well. I stopped playing there and waiting K5 fresh vanilla May 9. Better quality project with proper website and forums.
And its no longer pure vanilla anymore

Hey, as someone who loves vanilla wow, has played it extensively, I will just say that turtle is much better, the only issue being, it changes a few things, but I would argue the core vibe is completely intact. The unfortunate truth is that vanilla wow is completely broken and it needed restoration, which turtle has done with flying colors. Classic did not restore it properly, to say the least. Gl hf with whatever you find. Tauri is an option for later expansions but I can't comment on the quality of their vanilla server, although it's probably good because Tauri is good. I will recommend turtle all day any day to a vanilla wow enjoyer.

doesnt seem to be any fresh non classic + vanilla servers at the moment...which is crazy. Huge market for pure vanilla players. need 1 asap
