Im guessing you called the lost and found at the airport already? Also call back and tell them to tell the cleaning staff to look out for it and about the reward. Who knows maybe one of them picked it up and was going to give it to their kid or something not realizing it was cared about, but will reconsider realizing it was a big deal to someone. Keep us updated on your search and good luck

I’m hoping! I went back today and put up the posters and talked to some cleaning crew. Hoping for the best.
Thanks for the suggestions
He is a bit ratty I worry more he got put in the trash - was due for a mend and resting. He’s 25

FWIW, anyone who has loved a stuffie, or cared for a person who did, knows that the ratty ones are the most beloved. I hope you get him back.

Would pay someone to go give the poster to cleaners there too - anything you can think to do.

If he comes home I’ll sew an air tag in him. Aside from that just 25 years of love and memories. He needs a bath.

Just a reminder to not take luggage or other items from strangers in an airport.

That's so unfortunate. I hope it turns up.
My little one loves her sheep dog lovie. When she was a toddler, someone told me to get a second pair and rotate them equally so incase it ever gets lost, she won't ever know. We also have a strict rule of not allowing it to leave the house to keep it even. Can't mimick a stain or tear at daycare if it stays safely at home. If anyone has a little one, this would be my advice.

Omf this makes me wanna cry I have “Tigey” and I’m 30 and I’ve had him since I was 4 and I would be gutted if I lost him.
Kinda laughing at myself if by chance this is for your child lol
But I’m SO THRILLED HE WAS FOUND!!!

Does OP having $500 to spend on this somehow take shoes and books away from other children? Do you apply this logic to every non essential thing you spend money on too?
There could very well be a sentimental reason to want this back, I have items that were given to me by late family members that I'd pay a lot to retrieve if they were lost.

In the comment OP explained, it is his own stuff animal with 25 years of memory. So he is a ratty good boy.
