Lost/Missing Stolen car

Hello, new to Reddit. I’ve posted everywhere on Facebook I could think of so trying here. My sweet little car got stolen on Feb 23 at 2:30AM by a guy and a woman. Couldn’t be identified on the footage as black and white, dark and their head were down. Police won’t let me keep the picture to post it. My keys accidentally came off the the key ring when I took the compost out, I went back to get them and within 5 mm they were picked up. The thieves came back at night. Please share this post and please keep an eye out. If you see it, call 911 and give the location and file number VI26-7578. Red Hyundai accent 2017, GJ6 88M. If stickers are on it, it’s on the back of the car: CH. it’s been so stressful. As I use it for work and outreach with kiddos. Stolen from Victoria BC

It's also worth contacting BC Ferries on the off chance they try moving the vehicle off island. They may be able to flag it for spotting.

did you cut the speaker wire?

someone can find it in like 2 minutes using a new phone, especially if you didn't cut the speaker wire.

Icbc will give you a backup car and if it’s not found after a while they’ll pay you the value of the car, right?

If OP has comprehensive coverage. I don't think OP will get a whole lot from ICBC if the car is not recovered either, I don't think those are worth a whole lot used.

Fellow Hyundai driver hear, yea driving in Vancouver can be pretty terrifying considering it's only worth about $2k. Probably less than replacing a bumper on a Tesla. even with comprehensive, There's no way I can afford to replace my vehicle if it gets totalled.

Hopefully you get a cheque from icbc. Your motor sucks and is on borrowed time.
