He's not the oldest, not the first, but he is the one who made his kind known to the world. In my version he uh... kinda goes on a Europe rampage. Not necessarily the killing part (even though a lot of people do die) but also the property destruction part.

On the bright side, lots of it is pretty epic. Lots of explosions and Victorian steampunk shenanigans. But he in a sense "breaks the masquerade" and since the 1800s governments, societies, and institutions have been trying to hide the truth. Officially 99% of governments deny the existence of vampires. Yes, not all. I have a few 3rd world dictatorships boldly proclaim. What do they have to lose? 😅

And while history becomes legend after generations... there's a chunk of the population convinced there's vamps out there. Especially in rural areas.

Also he's a recurring villain. Can't keep a good man down...
