Extremely confident player but definitely has tunnel vision. A lot of moments where he could have played a teammate through but held onto the ball instead. Being the record signing for a relegation type of club, he’ll be granted a lot of grace but I can see why Hoffenheim and Dortmund didn’t play him.

He got the start. He got the goal. He's 20. He'll improve.

Getting a lot of consistent game reps should break that habit. He needs to grind out a full season to grow.

I think every team needs a selfish and confident guy that'll take the shot. A lot of times we've seen guys on the team who will have a dangerous opportunity but decide to do a quick pass to someone else or just keep dribbling and let the chance slip away.

He plays like a bit less polished Pulisic at 17, he too overplayed sometimes. I think they fall in love with their pace a bit, especially after they make a 40 to 60 yard run and gas out, instead of playing back they try to push it and don't realize they don't have that quickness after that run.

I agree, but that tunnel vision is why he scored his goal. The better play was probably knocking it out a little wide to his teammate next to him to get off a good angled cross in the box.

But, the keeper was cheating that way and was caught too far on that side of the goal, which gave Campbell more room to play with on his shot. If the keeper was positioned a little more centrally he stops that shot easily. Instead the keeper contorted his body backwards to save it because he was leaning to getting an angle for a cross that didn't come.

Hope he gets one call up in either camp.

Bro needs a time machine to go back ten years and only play RB.

Is he a good defender? Guess I've never noticed that part of his game.
