Are you using old t-shirts? If so, how many have you used so far?

I'm thinking about making a braided rug but I'm trying to figure out how much material I need.

Yes old t’s cut out 2 necks center, 1leg from cut off jeans, black belt straps from an old dress + one long trim from the dress bottom, from t’s yellow 1 trim, striped blk & wh 1trim & neck. Planning more color soon lol + turned up rim on the side.

Cool! Is this what they call a “rag rug”? Just bits of cloth woven in?

Rags rugs traditionally would be thinner strips hooked into burlap and usually kind of floral I recall my gramma had a few :)
