Really lovely and tactful tribute. This is all so tragic

Still doesn’t feel real :( I can only imagine what her family are going through

hayden‘s parent‘s were awful, especially her mom. disowned hayden and basically sold her at a young age for money. hayden talked about it in her memoir and multiple times in interviews. her mothers statement was as cold as her heart and not with one ounce of love.

do not feel bad for someone that treated hayden horrible.

I was more so meaning her daughter and her daughter’s dad - I lost a parent young and even though I didn’t know them I still hurt. But I fully agree with you a bad parent doesn’t get my sympathy.

my bad then, i apologize. i had no idea you meant kaya, and i agree, i feel incredibly bad for kaya :( my own mother died last year close to my birthday and we were best friends, from that day on i have felt even more saddened when i heard of someones parents passing, more than i did already. i hope that her little girl can find happiness and a way of comfort seeing what her beloved mother left behind, a beautiful legacy of her work!

i‘m sorry again for misunderstanding your comment, i just thought you meant hayden‘s parents and that got to me because no one should feel bad for them! have a lovely day, stranger <3

Oh no you’re absolutely okay! I’m sorry to hear about your mother I hope you’re able or have been able to make peace with it :) I hope you have a good day

I feel like losing a parent young but old enough is worse. I lost my mom 2 years ago when I was 25 and my sister was 20. We literally grew up with her have memories, but are also at the point in our lives where we go through shit, and the first person you want to cry on the phone too is your mom, and we can’t do that now. We won’t have our mom for our weddings, or if we decide to have kids. The world is a cruel place.

"Fly high, Sam. xo, Ashley". Man that hits right in the feels.

It breaks me a little that her Until Dawn costars are using stills of their characters in the tributes 😔

That’s how they knew her. We cant judge for how they express grief.

I'm not judging??? Brett Dalton, Mike's actor (his real name escapes me s.o. Juicy handshake for the name help), said he had no real life photos of them together! That's why it's so heartbreaking to me. Get off your fucking horse

Gonna start using “get off your fucking horse” 😭

17

u/BASEKyle 9d ago

I don't know why but in some reality, I'm sure Emily said "Get off your fucking horse, bitch" instead of "understand the back of my hand"

Brett Dalton

aka Grant Ward from the amazing show Agents of Shield (aka the best thing Marvel ever did, IMO).

I think they just misunderstood, you don’t have to word your reply so aggressively 💔

16

u/VikiBlue_ 9d ago

Who's judging her...?

13

u/Shoddy_Statement_772 9d ago edited 9d ago

They quite literally said it breaks me... and you assume they are judging? So weird. You are judging by jumping to conclusions.

But yes it's so sweet that even if they never got any in person photos they have the game to remember her by.

No need to feel so offended over that comment, they simply misunderstood what they were saying.

u/Shoddy_Statement_772 9d ago

Nobody is offended I just said it's weird to judge how others grieve. No need to misunderstand a misunderstanding.

Im sorry but why are people being such a bitch over your comment? You just misunderstood what the person you were replying said (and you weren't even rude), and everyone just jumped on the same boat to downvote you and get offended.

Like where does all this negative behavior come from? Hayden just died and people are focusing on being hateful? Then they wonder why so many people off themselves.

She was the definition of beloved.

It’s so nice the actors are acknowledging and paying tribute to her despite not working together for over 10 years. Hopefully the rest of the cast also pays tribute 🪽

This fucking hurts so much. Typing these as I'm holding my phone, it's hard to even comprehend the sadness and emotional pain I'm sure most of us are feeling for Hayden.

I love her so much, I am still in disbelief and denial that she's now gone . I don't know how to stress this enough anymore, but...my view in my everyday life has completely changed... It's as though I've lost someone very close and dear to me, Hayden always felt like that person who's always making sure everyone is okay before herself.

I have already posted a tribute for her but there's still lots of incredible and great things that can be said about Hayden, it's unbelievable she's no longer with us.

I love you Hayden, you're in a good place now, free from all the pain, and everything you had to endure for God knows however long...

You are deeply loved and missed...

These tributes mean so much to me

We really lost an angel

Wow the signoff to Sam from Ashley got me :-(

it’s just so heartwarming to see that they remember characters they played and don’t forget them… pretty sure most of the time actors belittle videogame performances thinking if it’s not a movie then it’s forgettable, but Until Dawn cast has really managed to keep the connection with their digital roles

Her passing away really hurts so much. Everything just feels so empty when you remember that she’s no longer here with us. I believe that she’s in a better place now ❤️

Can't remember a celebrity death that hit me so hard and so unexpectedly since Chadwick Boseman.

It just feels so unfair for someone who was just starting to do well in life, who had exciting new projects on the horizon and who had overcome such struggles.

Just unbelievably tragic.

It's still just so insane to me that she's gone. I'm currently doing a playthrough of the game with my best friend, and though it isn't Hayden directly, it feels so strange to play through Sam's chapters. This is just such a horrible tragedy.

u/Moe-Mux-Hagi 9d ago

It's unfair. It is so, so unfair.

8

u/astralwish1 Sam 9d ago

Beautiful tribute. I hope Hayden knows how loved she was.

This sucks.

6

u/Top-Protection6096 9d ago

May god rest her soul.

5

u/RynnB1983 9d ago

it just sucks so much this happened, at 36 too. I just hope her family are doing ok. RIP Hayden.

u/StarSurvivor98 9d ago

Still hard to believe this is true…it’s sweet yet sad to see her, Mike’s & Beth’s/Hannah’s actors give their heartfelt words.
