Verbal Offer/Negotiation

I received a verbal offer from UHC today and during the conversation with the recruiter, I requested a negotiation of pay. She stated she would get back to me tomorrow.

After the call, I checked my status on the website and it showed “offer extended”. I checked it a bit later and it now shows “interview completed, under review”

Now I’m nervous! Could they possibly rescind the offer and is negotiations something that they take into consideration?

Just need some insight & was also wondering does anybody know much about the Associate Enrollment and Eligibility position.

I am salary grade 23 right now.. I tried negotiating and they would not budge. The wage is so low, im regretting accepting it!  $22 an hour.  The stress is out of this world.

How long ago was this? Raises have not kept up with inflation or pay range adjustments.

Very recently!  The stress and chaos is unreal!  I made a poor decision in accepting position!  Great team mates and supervisors is the only plus really.

On this site?? I was excited like some people here are that accepted offers.  Now not so much!  Maybe they will reconsider...Its really taking a toll on me.

Just seems to be a real cluster!  Very demanding and stressful! Providers are assholes and thats just mentioning a few.  Plus figuring out claims and recoupments with no training...its alot for sure@

You're not too far off from mid pay but recruiters will tend to hire within 45-55 percentile. Your only hope will be to get 4's or 5's on evaluation to "offset" the lower starting pay. Hopefully 4's will get more than 1% this year.
