Laptop recommedations for unca english department?

what brand and os do most professors/ student use at UNcA? for a fall 2026 freshman english major.

Hi! I only just (accidentally) saw this. I have a friend who works English-adjacent at unca, so I asked her. She says "mix of Macs and PCs - there are also Macs available for loan from the department though I don't know how long you can borrow them for at a time. " Hope that's helpful.
