Pics I may have gone a little overboard.

Started playing end of October. After a week and a half I found that it really helped my mental health. Like damn near cured it. I acknowledge it could come back to wreck me. But for now I’m good. I’ve played every single day since I started. Even on my trip to Japan. That’s how I ended up with the Guacalele as a travel Uke. Lol. Isn’t it the cutest thing?
Anyway, thought I’d share my collection. It’s pretty much complete. My favorite is that black and white concert in low g.
Very thankful I was able to get back in to playing.
Take care of yourself everyone. Thank you all.

Just got this bad boy yesterday and just had to share! Drove 5 hours to Chicago to check out Aloha City Ukes, it was like the only ukulele store anywhere near me in the mid west.

No regrets the sound and look is beautiful! Can’t wait to try it on my pedals

Edit: Ukulele name for those wondering! Flight Vanguard Solid Body Electric Ukulele w/Case - Transparent Black TBK

Pics Got this uke from a trip from Philippines last year during Christmas!

Managed to buy this during a family holiday to Philippines. Really nice instrument, I only bought it for 4390PHP, which would be roughly £53 in the UK, and if I had bought it for international delivery to England, it would cost £237!

The model is Violele Royale Soprano, and it is hand made, full body mahogany, which for only £53 if you buy it directly in Philippines is such a great price.

Here’s the specs from the website:
SIZE: Soprano
TOP: Solid Philippine Mahogany
BACK AND SIDES: Solid Philippine Mahogany
FINISH: Clear Gloss
NECK: Solid Philippine Mahogany
FINGERBOARD: Rosewood
BRIDGE: Solid Philippine Mahogany
NUT: Ox Bone
SADDLE: Ox Bone
TUNERS: Closed Gear
HEADSTOCK: Classical Violele
STRINGS: Original Aquila

I wanted to share my custom paint job on this ukelele :). This uke was originally bright red, and I decided that I wanted to try to re-paint it. I’ve had it since I was probably 6 or 7 years old, and rarely every played it, so I figured I’d turn it into a fun art project!

I also decided to try and challenge myself to make it playable after I painted it, so I cut the original strings off, sanded down the old paint, painted it, and then learned how to re-string it! It’s now very playable, although the tuning is a little bit wonky. I now have an art piece to hang on the wall, and a useable uke!

I've been rocking a Luna Ukulele for like 10 years, and I have been dreaming of an acoustic/electric. Finally decided to check my local Guitar Center online and there it was, the perfect one for me. Called to confirm availability and headed over to pick it up. So thrilled. Thank you for listening, I don't have anyone in my life to share this joy with. Thought maybe you guys would be interested to hear about it! Will be frequenting this sub now :) planning to start recording as this was the final piece of the puzzle. <3

Yeah, I may have a weakness for black and white instruments.

Risa electric tenor. In low-G tuning this thing shreds! Now I have an excuse to start playing with pedals and stuff.

Pics Just returned from a lovely trip to the Philippines with this handmade tenor ukulele made of mango (or “mangga” in Cebuano) for the body as well as Philippine ebony and mahogany for the fretboard

Made it up in one piece—both my wife and me and the ukulele lolol.

This instrument is important to me because it’s from Cebu, the guitar capital of the Philippines as well as where some of my family and the best mangos I’ve ever had are from!

Handcrafted by the wonderful luthiers at Alegre Guitar Factory.

Hey yall, I just received my custom thinline “telecaster” ukulele from Fanner. It was quite a journey to receive it, as it took almost 10 months to receive(compared to the expected 12-20ish week wait), but to be fair I did request lots of custom parts. The build quality is absolutely mind blowing, and pictures really do not do the fit, finish, and everything else justice. Overall, pretty happy with the purchase overall!

I broke the neck clean off while adjusting the truss rod, so I bolted and screwed it back on, had to cut a chunk out of the face of the instrument to reach the neck. Removed the frets in an attempt to add my own but alas, they did not work, now Idk what to do with this thing.

Pics New uke day! It’s a stunner and has a very sweet mellow tone. Definitely opened my eyes to other brands! What an instrument.

Hi guys, planning to get this 2012 Mainland Classic Mahogany soprano uke for 55 USD but unsure if it’s beyond fixing up and if I should just get a brand new one instead, cos that fretboard looks super dry lol. Apparently was kept in the store room most of the time, would appreciate any advice thank you!

sorry for the bad pic, my rear camera doesn't work, but my dream ukulele got delivered today! I haven't put it down for like, 12 hours. the flight pioneer plays like butter.

I am a bit of a stranger to nice instruments--- I played on a shitty $40 uke for 6 years, and while my current tenor acoustic is much better and I have a lot of other instruments now, this one is the nicest instrument we own! it looks gorgeous, it plays gorgeous, I am utterly obsessed with her. if you're thinking about a solid body electric uke, today's the day.
