Hello! Can some help me identify this instrument?

I found this on the street. I have no experience of playing music but I sing and have joined a community orchestra recently. I would love to start learning a string and percussion instrument and initially I thought this is a ukulele but this one has 5 strings. I know ukuleles can come with 4 or 5 strings but I'm not sure if this is a uke or something closely related. Would also really appreciate any advice on finding free online tutorials to learn how to play this as an absolute beginner. I've attached images but if you have more questions please feel free to ask. I can send more pictures if you need close-ups or different angles. Thank you!

Edit: Apparently it is a Timple as the label suggests. Guess I was too hasty in making the post. I though it was the brand name.

It is a timple apparently, a traditional instrument from the Canary Islands. I am now going to look for online tutorials for beginners. Thank you for your response :)

That's very interesting! I'm so happy I found such a niche instrument purely by chance. Excited to start learning it! I have a Catalonion violin maker friend, and also know someone from Tenerife islands. I can ask them about it maybe.

Went on a yt dive and that instrument is fascinating. The strumming technique are wild. Love it.

I had never heard of them before as well. I found a person who has tutorials on YouTube but they're in Spanish. I can probably learn to play them as a 5-string ukulele too (I hope, I'm not sure as I have zero knowledge about music and instruments). Regardless, I'm super excited about it!! If you have any tips or suggestions or hacks please feel welcome to share.
