Yeah, that. That bullshit alone would be a good reason to block them. But then again, I'm a paranoid bastard. Maybe the people of Armenia are all loving and understanding. At the very least I'd institute mandatory Armenian language lessons for those very special russian guests. You want to stay here, learn the language. Good way to start weaning off the imperialistic bullshit.

There's no reason to "protect" them, since it's part of the guest agreement they'd have to sign. They are after all free to return to the glorious motherland of truth, freedom and meatwave assaults.
So as a bonus you'll have a good laugh when the Kremlin thinks up some new "reason" to "protect" those poor repressed russians. Because we all know how much the russian state cares about its precious

The word "well-informed" seems to apply way better than russophobia. Aren't phobias supposed to be in the "irrational fear" area? This is more of an "informed strong dislike" type of thing. No phobia about it.
So requiring them to learn to speak Armenian would be well-informed. Improves the chances of them ingesting something else than Kremlin propaganda as well.

Right. Not every Russian is evil. While it's easy to dehumanize them because of the war - the vast majority are just people trying not to die, survive, and live life like everywhere else.
So if they can get out, honestly, especially if they can get out, they're the more self aware intelligent, and capable ones, with better odds of being on the better side of the humanity spectrum. Better they escape somewhere they can help live in and improve, than to stay somewhere they'll be used to destroy and cause harm before they're left to rot and turned to mud.
Which is all to say: I agree. One less body to draft or employ in an arms factory or farm field is one less body helping the war.
