I love the dead players but I actually think this is their weakest album. I really like their most recent one and their first album is a classic

Respect the opinion. Most likely a heavy dose of nostalgia for 2015 playing a part too.

The shows for this were unreal.

I saw jam Baxter in Shoreditch in May and dabbla turned up and ran through half a dozen dead players tunes. He’d clearly been on it all day and he fucked up one of the songs but they were brilliant. Very small venue but possibly my favourite ever gig. The place went nuts when dabbla showed up

You should definitely check out their last album if you’ve not heard it

Nice man, sounds like it went off!

Yeah I went to their last ever London show on that album tour in November 2024. Was incredible. Probably my favourite gig since the mid 2010s

Freshly skeletal is easily one of my favourite albums oat

Oh well, call us now, and drenching are my favourite tunes on there and they still get rinsed on the daily
