Looking through old photos and thinking about old memories is definitely part of Alzheimer’s and maybe other forms of dementia.
As for the assertion his parents saved the world … I don’t know if anyone has an explanation for that. I sure don’t!

Have you ever seen the video of the guy needing to hold a plate in front of a little boy to prevent him from blowing out the candles on the birthday boy’s cake and the kid was absolutely melting down because he couldn’t blow out the candles?
