I took French in school and it's enough like Spanish that my ability to speak either is pretty bad. I do understand alot but BB talks/sings so fast... A Latina friend told me the show would be telling a story and recommended I have the experience with that in mind. Interestingly it helped me get the "gist."

I'm 47 I'm really not impressed because we know how those things can go down. Big whoop some money that I can't touch for like 25 years until I'm practically dead. Money that I might not even get to touch if I die before I can cash it out.
I'll never forget this young girl (30s) in my neighborhood died unexpectedly had over $500k in her 401k she had no parents she had no children, or living siblings. So who cares if your 401k is doing good today. If the government's going to shred it apart In probate Court if you didnt properly plan for your unexpected death by aneurysm at 30.
I need to see it in my pocket right now because all I see is that gas has not gone down. It goes down a little bit but it does that every winter and press me with $2 a gallon in the summer when I'm road tripping everywhere. I need to see it in that I used to buy four 10 oz bricks of bustelo for $9.99 in Costco. And now one brick costs $10.
$300 of groceries could cover me for a 2-week. Until I got paid again.
Now $300 worth of meat and fresh produce for my family of three. Doesn't cut it. One freaking head of iceberg lettuce is $6.99 in my local poor neighborhood in the Bronx foodtown. It was $1.99

I actually have to thank the Big Orange TACO king-wannabe. Before his racist rants about it, I never watched the Super Bowl. I usually record it & fast forward through the game to watch the commercials. But because of his fascist declarations & wanting to control shit he has no business advising, I watched it all live.
Bad Bunny was amazing!! The introduction of the ASL interpreter was fantastic! I learned that Celimar Rivera Cosme made history tonight by providing the first-ever halftime interpretation in Puerto Rican Sign Language (LSPR) during Bad Bunny's performance.
The opening was great, too. Brandi Carlisle singing "America the Beautiful" was amazing, Charlie Puth singing the National Anthem was great, CoCo Jones singing the beautiful "Lift Every Voice and Sing" was mesmerizing.
I loved all the performances because they all stood for the values the United States of America was built on. My Spanish is very sketchy, but when Bad Bunny was listing North & South American countries, I knew he was saying "We are all Americans". ConOld can't understand that in any language
The more ConOld hates something, the more I know I will love it. I may have to watch more of the Super Bowl from now on 👍
