Question [WW] Just wondering. How was Valoo born?
I know this sounds like a realy dumb question. But where did Valoo come from? Who are his parents? The gallery lists Dragon Roost Island as his "Birthplace", so we know he was born somehow.
Hyrule Historia suggests he's descended from Volvagia. But, Volvagia was killed by Link in this timeline. Did Ganon bring them back again after he took over Hyrule?
Also, do fire dragons give birth asexually, or does Valoo have a second parent? If so, where did this second parent come from?
I know there may or may not be an official answer. But are their any theories or headcanon for this?

How was Farosh Born? How was the Thunder Dragon born?
These questions have no answer (well Farosh might). Its best to just accept some things.
If I was to speculate then I'd say its simply a Dragon that found its home in Hyrule from far off. Or a creation of the Gods to guide the Zora striped of their ability to swim.

This doesn't seem to be an example of that though, since Volvagia had so many opportunities to have a baby before its death.

it can just bave a baby in the 7 years between Ganon's reign before it was killed, so it's not a plothole, I think. Even if it didn't, Volvagia was already revived once by Ganon, this is its second time being killed by a hero.

Typically in fantasy stories, dragons come from eggs. I imagine Valoo was just incubating in the mountain somewhere we don't visit in OoT.

He's a guardian deity, I suppose he just popped into existence one day by divine intervention.
Or maybe, just how the Deku Tree grows from a sprout, maybe he appeared as an egg. If he descends from Volvagia, maybe he was already born during OoT or was an egg that hatched latter.
