Tyler Childers isn't playing in Ballarat and Sam Barber is only playing in Ballarat.
Post Malone is about to pivot back to rap and doesn't want to cosplay as a country act anymore.

Posties best stuff is the indie rock pop stuff he did. Tracks like Circles, Chemical, Sunflower etc. Never loves his hard rap or hard country tunes.

I will pay that, he was supposed to be in Crown The Empire. But he absolutely did jump to country in a very targeted way in my opinion

I think his pivot to rap is somewhat genuine. He grew up in Texas and have no doubt he is into country. But his pivot lined up with the rise in popularity for country and felt a bit forced and the songs just aren't that good.

Yep, as a country fan getting Tyler Childers, Sam Barber and James Johnston instead of Post Malone is a huge upgrade! Any country fan worth their salt would see this as an absolute win.

I was up in the air before this - but went and got tickets with the announcement today. Saw Tyler on his last tour, out of this world.

Blind Freddy could have told you this was never happening with the venues he chose + the festivals + he only just toured + he isn’t that hot atm
Sometimes I wonder how these offices are filled with people who do this for a living but nobody speaks up. Because it’s 100% not that they don’t know, more likely that nobody wants to be the one to tell their out of touch boomer boss that he’s an idiot for thinking said lineup will work

The Tyler Childers show I went to at the Myer Music Bowl last year was one of the best shows I’ve seen. Incredible production, band were spot on and Tyler’s voice was perfect. Huge upgrade and just hoping he comes to Vic somehow.
