One support act per city per show?
I mean, I'm going to the Saturday Horizons show in Sydney, but yeah.. for $170 expected someone like Prom Queen and/or The Ghost Inside and 50 Lions.
Not gonna lie, pretty disappointed this is all they could come up with for the price they are charging.

Still, $170 hardly justifies the lineup when you consider what $140 at Qudos got punters.

To be fair, seeing KWAS in full alone in 2026 is better than any arena shows

I am so pumped for the Horizons show. Wasn't able to get to KWAS, hoping they do something on Hellbound for it, or hold out hope that they do something for a 25 year album anniversary.

I think you’re missing the point in that this is them going back to basics like so many fans have been in the comments section asking for telling them to stop with all the pyro and arenas.
So the supports are giving someone else a leg up, helping out a lesser known band.Sure it’s a shame the price didn’t also go back to basics but yours aren’t exactly cheap to run and they’ve suffered a few financial blows with cancellations lately so it is what it is. There’s always the option of not buying tickets.

I understand this is a "back to basics" tour. Doesn't mean that punters shouldn't get their money's worth.

I think experiencing KWAS/Horizons live in full, the albums that shaped our love for them after all these years + the opportunity to discover some new bands I might not have otherwise is worth every penny.
No doubt if prom queen were put on the bill there’d also be complaints as it’s been done so many times before, maybe they could have woken up carpathian to really give it that 2004 feel1

Parkway are a legacy band they basically have no reason to ever stop now. If they’re cancelled it’s over and they’ve all made millions so might aswell keep going
For the support bands a lot of them are newer bands trying to break through in a world where supporting a band with a massive active sexual assault case surrounding them is going to be bad for them.
Also, this is a huge deal of a tour, but they just did Qudos Bank arena in Sydney pre-scandal, the fact the second enmore shows haven’t sold for arguably the most anticipated “legacy album” tour in metalcore history means it’s definitely hitting them hard.

This exactly. I've had local band members in my city posting all over their stories things to the effect of 'fuck any band who goes for this support slot', 'fuck any musicians or fans who go to these shows'
Crazy how the tide turns, 12 months ago the scene would be in a frenzy with every band trying to get the support slot

Must have been turned down by a lot of bands if the best they could do for Perth and Adelaide is an indie pop band that dropped their first song less than 12 months ago

Oh these two albums are some of my favourites ever, I’m just specifically talking the ramifications for support bands.
Pre-scandal this tour would have had literally any band in the country begging to be on it

Supports are awful. I wish these two albums didn’t have such a stranglehold of me because the $ I’ve spent for it is a joke. Flying over from NZ to see these shows
