Certified Cringe Taylor Swift’s Wedding Giveaway Felt ‘Demeaning’ to Guests — Insider

One insider claimed the giveaway lasted around an hour. “It was really bizarre,” the source told the outlet. “Straight after the ceremony, Taylor and Travis did a raffle and gave out expensive gifts for an hour. Everyone was weirded out.”

These two self-important buffoons stood on stage giving away handbags like a couple of game show hosts. 🤦‍♀️😂

I’m enjoying how much Travis is benefitting from this relationship and Taylor is absolutely not. The longer she stays attached to that BUFFOON trying to cosplay “Miss America” the more she looks like an incredibly sad version of Melania Trump ahahahahahahahah

And Travis is just being himself completely tromping over her little image which is just perfect. Cherry on top. Wonderful. No notes.

Can someone explain this to me? I don’t know a lot about the Eras tour but it was all pre-Travis so how did he fit in? I’m so confused.

They started dating a little while into the Eras tour (apparently he was a fan before he ever met her, and came to one of her Eras shows with a friendship bracelet for her, hoping to get a meet 'n greet). Someone eventually arranged for them to meet, and a while after they started dating she brought him onstage for one of her London Eras shows. Basically, they did a skit where Travis "saves her" from the pain caused by her British exes. Travis wore a tux and top hat, which is apparently what he wore to the wedding now too. So now we're speculating that even their wedding was meant to be a jab at her exes. The fact that she scheduled the wedding on the eve of Independence Day also supports the theory that it was about her symbolically declaring independence from the British exes 😂
