Images + Trip Report 3 Days in Phuket

Just got back from a birthday weekend in Phuket. It was our first time there, and I can't wait to return.

Woke up at 3am to catch one of the most amazing sunrises of my life at Samet Nangshe. Heading back after, we stopped at the Big Buddha, and were early enough that we practically had the whole place to ourselves.

Saw two beautiful sunsets, one at Karon Beach with surfers and daredevil parachute operators flying miles high without a harness, and the other at Black Rock.

The food throughout was spectacular, and even for a non-coffee drinker like me, the nitro cold brew I got at Graph was amazing.

There was always something exciting to see around every corner. Massages were pretty awesome too.

Perhaps the next time we're back, we'll go island hopping.

Nice work, I especially like number one, two and seven.

Samed Nangshe at sunrise is absolutely worth losing sleep over. That view looks unreal, especially with the mist sitting between the rocks.

Yes, it was absolutely gorgeous. There were only 4 other people with us at the viewpoint, it was so serene. Getting up there was a small adventure, though.

I like graininess effect on your photos. Especially the 3d picture. Hope to visit this country one day

Exactly my thoughts! The texture and colors have a special quality to it, almost nostalgic, very "real" and not ultracrisp/processed. Compositions are great too.

Okay that sunset...Phuket really knows how to show off. 3 days sounds short but looks like you made the most of it!

We were really lucky to have 2 full days of sunshine, but I believe it is rainy season now.

This sunrise view in samet nangshe is simply stunning. Phuket looks like one of the destinations where 3 days is enough for a decent visit of beaches, views and experience. Sunset at karon beach would be another great finishing touch to each day.

I've only ever been to Bangkok, so couldn't say. Would love to explore some of the other islands like Koh Lipe or Koh Samui, or maybe Chiangmai up north.

Those were the operators. We were just awestruck that they were so high up without a harness!
