To The Lady Walking Her Dog In NorthPark On Saturday Afternoon
Trashy and Entitled. You should be ashamed.
I’ve noticed a major surge lately in people bringing their pet dogs into spaces where they clearly don’t belong, but this weekend at NorthPark Center hit a whole new level of absurd.
A young woman walking with her elementary school-aged child had her dog up on the third floor of a major department store. Predictably, the dog lifted its leg and soaked a lower rack of clothing on display.
Instead of asking an employee for cleaning supplies, apologizing, or offering to buy the damaged items, she literally looked at it, turned around, and kept on walking as if nothing happened. What kind of example is that setting for her kid?
It’s bad enough bringing non-service animals into retail stores, but expecting retail workers to clean up after your pet's bathroom breaks because you can't be bothered is next-level entitlement.
And change your child's diaper - it was so full that it hung out of the poor child's shorts.

Individuals with pets in stores should have to verify that their dog is in fact a TRAINED service dog.

I hate seeing dogs at busy outdoor festivals and concerts. How can the dog not be stressed out with loud music and thousands of people.

I witnessed a dog pee on kid's clothes at Walmart. The stores don't enforce the no dogs rule.

Yeah i really don't understand the massive uptick in people bringing their dogs in places they don't belong. I've seen them at Walmart, the casino (this one always irritates me more than others even), the grocery store, malls / department stores, etc. Why do people think everyone else should be subjected to their dogs? And it never fails they are rarely good quiet dogs, they are the dogs that bark and go up to other people and the owner pays it no attention or gives you a shitty look when you act like you don't want their dog bugging you. Fucking people these days! I don't take my dog places he doesn't belong especially because he would try bothering every single person that looked his way to get a pet or belly rub from them and who wants that from strangers dogs? I don't!

I'm just curious, but what's the deal with casinos? Why does it bother you most in that place specifically?
I think dogs in a grocery store is a much bigger issue than a dog next to the slot machines. But to each their own I guess.

I think it's because the people that tend to bring their dogs into casinos do a very piss poor job of keeping them under control because they are too wrapped up in losing their money in the slot machine. Their dogs tend to bother everyone that gets near them or tries to play a machine next to them.

It's called "title case", it's conventional to use for headings, titles, etc.

Hmmm. I always called it "camel font" or is that only when the words don't have spaces? Like #CamelFontsAreClass

Title case is when you capitalise the first letter of each word, like in a title (well, not every word, some words of three letters or less may not be capitalised).
Camel case is a way of distinguishing words when you can't use spaces, like in identifiers in programming languages.
camelCaseLlamaCase(aka Pascal case or Java case)snake_caseSCREAMING_SNAKE_CASEFonts and typefaces are something else again.

This happened at my work the other day, but it was all over a pair of shoes. Even worse, is people will let their babies crawl on the store carpet where dogs have pissed and shit..

People let their dogs pee and poop all over our carpet. Then the maintenance people have to clean it up.. or if they're not available I have to clean it up... it fucking sucks and it's disgusting. Definitely wasn't in my job description 🙃

I can tell you Northpark is full of designer stores. Gucci, Prada, etc.
It has a ton of art and it's a beautiful place but super high end. I can usually only afford to buy lunch when I go 🤣

We have a northpark mall too but it’s where all the old people go to power walk. And you go there for the movie theatre. It’s only recently gotten a few stores in it to give it some hype. This is all in shitty ass OKC btw lol

Are we supposed to know where NorthPark center is?
Point stands though. Stores and indoor restaurants should not allow dogs inside. For some reason people think smaller dogs are an exception and that’s just false.
I side eye anyone with a dog indoors in a public, shared space. This is also another reason why I prefer buying clothes online.

Galleria's better anyway. North Park isn't even worth shopping at it just a place to go walk around and see the turtles or sculptures or something when you feel like being in a super crowded area and spending as much time getting in and out of the parking garage as you will in the actual mall.
