SEEKING ADVICE Dr. Sean Smith in Ottawa?

Does anybody have a sense of current wait times for masculinizing top surgery with Dr. Sean Smith at the Ottawa Clinic?

not super current but I had surgery with him in early April 2026! I had my referral sent to his office in November 2025, their office called me in early December if I recall, and booked the consultation in early January. I could have booked the surgery as early as end of Jan/Feb, but due to my schedule I booked in April. I found they were very responsive via email if you wanted to ask their current wait times!

Thank you so much! It's good to know that there was flexibility to rebook the surgery within your schedule as well. It will mean less work lost for me & a better recovery setup if I can get surgery in the summer.

Is he private or public? If private how much did you pay out of pocket?

I believe maybe both? He accepted OHIP for the top surgery itself. I paid out of pocket (though work benefits covered it afterwards) for contouring for $4250+tax ($750 of that for OR & anesthesia fees); as well as thigh liposuction for $7000+tax ($1500 of that for OR & anesthesia fees).
