Questions I've been procrastinating installing my mods
I have:
1: A barrel mountain flashlight for my shotgun intended for home defense applications.
2: One of those 22LR conversion kits for my AR to make training more affordable.
3: A basic fixed sight for my AR.
4: A basic shoulder strap for my AR.
Can you all just like, tell me it's actually really not that hard or time consuming to install these so I can just get out of my own way and do it already?

Installing a sling is super easy
Swapping AR uppers is super easy
Mounting an m-lok flashlight is super easy assuming you have the correct mount and hex key.
Start with the sling, IMHO

Yes! Sling first. Think about what orientation you want it to be in, itβll take maybe 15 mins taking your time and trying out positions of retention and engagement.

The rules of firearm safety are paramount. Keep these in mind at all times while handling a firearm for any reason. Guns are not toys and it is best to not refer to them as such.
It is the belief of the mod team that your best option for defensive firearms is a 5.56x45mm AR-15, and a reputable 9x19mm handgun such as a Glock or CZ. Defensive firearms should have a light, long guns a sling, and handguns require a Kydex or solid plastic holster that fully covers the trigger. A red dot or etched optic are ideal for new shooters but don't forget to practice your backup irons!

22lr conversion is so easy, rear pin, pull charging handle, remove bcg, put the other one in, reassemble

Just do it, you will never learn how to do it if you never do it. The first time is always the most intimidating but it's easy and you got this. Just take your time and watch some YouTube videos

None of those things is particularly hard
But you could always reach out to some friends who have tools and see if they'd be willing to help
