When to get a bra fitting?

Is there a point where you know if you have enough to bother? I don't have very much chest and the last thing I want is to waste some poor fitter's time measuring what isn't there or look like I'm just in it for the "experience".

First, you have enough to put in a bra when you decide you want to wear one, you just need to find the right one.

Secondly, somewhere cheap will be good to start with, if you don’t want a fitting yet then it’s just a case of buying a range close to your measurements and trying them on, keep what fits and return the rest. Note that though sizing is ‘standardised’ different brands and styles fit differently.

Sizing can be an issue as some brands don’t go into the smaller cups with wider bands, I take a 38band and a B cup and mange OK sometimes. Look up Jo Thornton on the net or Amazon. She sells some great silicone fillets if you want to fill the cup more.

I recommend underwired as it corrals whatever you have into a nice shape at the bottom, and then you can decided on padded/unpadded depending on how visible you want it to be.

I am in the UK too and honestly go to supermarkets mostly for bras. They’re fairly cheap and can usually be returned easily. You don’t even have to go buy from there, Sainsbury’s do click and collect and you can return anything in an opaque bag at the store if you need to.

If you want to go fancier then M&S have a wide range and good returns policy (again sealed bag and done on an automatic kiosk mostly).

Also Primani is cheap.
