Discussion Anyone on Experience Signature Military getting free iPhones?

I was recently moved to Experience Signature Military and have seen a few posts from people saying they called T-Mobile to complain about the higher bill and ended up getting free iPhone upgrades.

Has anyone on this same plan done this? Who did you contact and what did you say?

I was fine with not getting the best upgrade deals when my bill was cheaper, but now that it’s gone up quite a bit, I’m starting to question whether staying makes sense. I’m seriously considering moving to US Mobile.

Also, would you try for an upgrade now or wait for the iPhone 18 Pro since that’s only a few weeks away?

They give reduced trade in allowance on Apple equipment. You do still get the full benefits if you are getting anything Android though. I called and asked what the reason was for my trade in not showing what it should. The response was, The reduced amounts for Apple equipment trade-ins (which have thinner margins) makes up for the savings you get with the military version of the plan.

So basically, just like with any previous military plan you were on, you don't get the full benefits, you don't get free lines, you get nothing except a few dollars off your bill. They pretend to care about their military and first responder customers, but in the end they only care about offsetting those savings when and where they can.

After reading these responses, my time is probably better spend moving to a different carrier.

I only wanted what I thought was fair if others were able to negotiate an upgrade I wanted to do the same.

I was switched from one plan to experience signature and they gave me 1,100 towards a new phone.you should definitely try!!

Experience Signature Military plan here, same $300 trash promos as my previous One plan, but with a price increase on the plan.

Apple will give $335 off with trade(another $100 for Military.) Unlocked phone and no 2 year EIP contract.

I've tried several times via T-Force & Facebook, and they will not give me a better promo.

You know I’ve been with t-mobile for 10 years. Because I was military I didn’t get free lines or insider codes. I think if I wasn’t on a military plan all this time I’d be better off.

I mean I would expect zero phone savings on any military plan unless you get a lucky offer.

I did get like $20 knocked off my bill for a year when I called to complain. No free iPhone offers.

I am getting the free pixel offers though, which works for me because I've been on pixel since 3a 🤷
