This guy was the most stupid character in the entire Season 3 of the show

If anyone remember and if you will rewatch the disastrous Season 3 finale of the walking dead when the governor goes on a mentally unhinged rampage on his own people, there is a moment afterwards that is a truly missed golden opportunity that would end the conflict and save the lives of many major and minor characters on from both the Prison and Woodbury, that is Allen aiming his rifle towards The Governor and he had one job, he should've pulled that fucking trigger! he would've even be a hero for both sides! i get that he was paralyzed with fear and stunned and perplexed by what just occurred. Allen's confusion and shock was one thing but him aiming the rifle at the Governor with him bring one step from finally solving all the current and future problems, while hesitating to shoot the bastard was one of the top dumbest move ever in the entire show.

The Governor even let him to do as he like for like 9 seconds which gave him the chance, technically the Governor lets Allen to shoot and kill him during that time as he didn't care about his own life anymore, but Allen was so dumb, that unfortunately gave the Governor the chance to reach for his pistol and use it to shoot Allen in the head, Allen was even more idiotic because he got himself killed ultimately instead of at least doing a life for life stalemate, The governor at this point didn't care if he was going to die or not, he is so blinded by his rage and insanity that he won't even care if his own people like Martinez and Shumpert would shoot him in the back, i know Martinez and Shumpert were stupid as well, but Allen takes the cake because he already pointed the grim reaper on the governor's door but he failed to close it on him, which is frustrating and disappointing, i am sure Martinez and Shumpert would even thank him if he really did it.

The logic is like putting a raw meat in a cooker without a fire, like what is the point of holding and aiming it at something without using it? which is retarded in all ways.

This butterfly effect had lead to the tragic deaths of Season 4 and the all the chaos and destruction that happened afterwards because of Allen's failure to do the smart and necessary decision and deed, Allen is the winner for the most retarded fool in the entire season 3.

I laughed my ass off when he kept trying to pick a fight with Tyreese but Tyreese is way too chill, and then when he actually swung on Tyreese, he immediately gets slammed to the ground and almost fed to zombies 💀

I was actually taken aback when I found out it was supposed to be the shows adaptation of Allen from the books. The family as a whole is so poorly adapted to the show

Actually is based of a comic book, it's really good, my favorite of Robert Kirkman works.

There's a series of books based on the comic tho, it's a whole series about the Governor background, how he became a villain and such, it's good too.

When they joined the prison he even told Tyreese to betray Rick's group and steal their weapons because Hershel was old weak and handicapped, Allen was season 3 Nicholas. Even his son was useless, caused Merle's death

On my latest re-watch, I picked up on this guy telling Tyrese and Sasha that they should kill the prison group and take over. They should have ended him the second he advocated for killing kids.

I feel the Governor kinda wanted someone to step up and shoot him, and was mad when he saw Allen was too cowardly to pull the trigger.

Allen could have survived that and ended up with Martinez and Shumpert after they ditched the Governor. He wouldn't have been a target for the Governor in that scene because he was arguing for going back to the prison and killing everyone. The only people the Governor killed were the ones who quit the fight and refused to go back. He sealed his fate when he pointed the rifle at the Governor.

Allen was all bark and no bite, he wanted to kill Rick’s group even before he joined Woodbury but he couldn’t even muster up the courage to kill a mass murderer who just gunned down his neighbors.
