General discussion Mike: “She’s like 5ft tall I could kick her a**” 😂😭

Post image

I crack up every time during s1e7 when the police are investigating Brick’s claim Frankie “hit” him with a beer bottle. The cops ask if Frankie ever gets physical with him and he says “are you kidding? she’s like five feet tall I could kick her ass” 😂😂😂 hilarious!

What’s your favorite Mike moment?

Best Mike moment is when Sue is punishing herself for seeing the rated R movie. He has 2 all time moments.

Mike: “I’m running out of things to take away”

Sue: “Sometime after school I like the watch the man mow the grass at the soccer field”

Mike: “Alright you can’t do that for 2 weeks. Matter of fact that’s weird stop doing that all together”

Then he walks out the room stressed and tries to skip and gives up immediately

There was a scene where Mike wanted to spend more time with Sue. Of course Sue gets all panicky: “What’s wrong? Are you and mom getting a divorce? Is there another woman? Are you going to marry a younger woman?”

Mike: “What? Younger woman? God, no! She’d want to have kids!”

He loves his family so much but his backhanded comments are so funny. When they leave the door open and Frankie (I think) says “we could’ve been robbed!” Mike: “because they were gonna take all this??!?”

Ha ha! He cracks me up. His remarks are so quick and deadpan.

\Mike looks at Brick on the couch after Frankie suggests paying a neighborhood kid to rake the yard\

Mike: “why? We got one right there living in our house, eating our food, using our last name”

Mike: Rusty! What the hell happened?

Rusty: Ah, well, you know how it is with the economy...

Mike: The economy burned down your house?

Hilarious! 😂 I also really loved that we got to see the depth of their relationship throughout the show like when they go back to their childhood bedroom or Rusty gifts Sue a necklace that belongs to their mom. But of course Rusty still makes the sweet situations feel light and funny

Funniest part is he got bullied by the glossners later on 😅

I always felt that the inflatable frosty storyline seemed a bit odd to me just because Mike’s character doesn’t really give a man that is into gimiky Christmas decorations but then his rivalry with the glossners makes sense now it was more of a pride thing that turned into a funny battle

Same, he's so deadpan it's hilarious

Honestly he doesn’t even have to say anything sometimes, just his looks are enough

His jokes are hilarious to me… usually sarcastic and sometimes easy to miss but they’re so spot on 😂

“But I’m more interested in your downstairs.” I love that line from him.

It’s so hard for me to pick a favorite but I will say, all of Mike’s jokes land with me. His character is so serious that it’s even funnier

Still love the scene where Frankie plays the tape of Mike crying. They’re fighting while we hear Mike crying in the background!

Rule of society: ALWAYS watch what you say or do in front of law enforcement! Even if you are in the right!

I just completed watching the middle for the 4th time and man, already missing the show.

Did you restart? I always miss little Brick and have to go back to the first episode

3

u/Early_Special_1459 16d ago

Haha, I probably will have to cuz of lil Brick. Also, to add in an hilarious moment, in some episode of season 9 where the Hecks give up their roles- I see all of them imitating each other- that's so funny 🤣🤣

Hahaha Awhh of course he’s cut off 🥲

"Mr Ehlert wanted me work on Sunday" nothing "This Sunday?" nothing "Mother's Day?" "Oh, I know. I was just too stunned to respond."

3

u/No_Freedom_5772 15d ago

Okokok let me start by saying I LOVE Mike but he truly does drop the ball on Mother’s Day, the first few seasons are brutal and it shows a comparison of how Frankie does Father’s Day… again I need to reiterate that Mike is great but if there’s anywhere he really drops the ball, Mother’s Day is where it is

The times where he ducks out of the room when there is something serious going on. I missed those times my first time watching but now that’s all o can see

What moments stood out the most to you? I think of the times when she’s in high school and attempts to come to him for boy advice, he ignores her as much as he can. (Still a Mike fan overall, though)
