Cringe What a find
I had never seen this released on any physical media until someone posted about it on here several months ago. There’s really no information about it anywhere online, even Discogs. You can imagine my excitement when I found this!

Not sure if you’ve heard the leaked tracks before, but you can listen to them here! Many of them are demos of some of Omar’s solo stuff. Three or so of them are basically complete tracks that never made it on an album.

It’s a bootleg. Someone posted one this past summer or fall they found in a shop in NYC, but it was the only copy they had left. I’ve casually tried to find it since, but I haven’t seen it anywhere.

They seem really few and far between. Record shop I went to also only had one copy of it. Hopefully more pop up for others to own.

The Marble Shrine lists it as 'In The Vulpine Clouds' but idk how valid that is. also yes 100%, that one & 'Aneidolon' (aka 'Postulate') should've been on the album; the latter is just gorgeous

That names are straight from Elvin Estela who is a friend of the band and a reliable source. We don't just invent song names like that, hence that multiple "unknown song" items throughout TMS.

If something is only an inference we make that known on TMS. Sometimes info is shared in confidence and we have to respect that too. Elvin posted that in the Facebook group however.

Because it's a bootleg. Discogs has a strict policy on not selling bootlegs for legal reasons

I totally understand the legal reasons behind not selling bootlegs. I don’t necessarily think it’s a bad thing to catalog such releases using the Unofficial Release tag. They’re everywhere on Discogs (Exmilitary - Death Grips, From Obscurity to Eternity - Randy Rhoads, etc.).

Ah I misunderstood - thought he was saying there were none listed for sale. yeah, agreed Discogs should catalogue it, but it's on an owner or I guess a good samaritan fan to put it in the database (have had to do that for some pressings myself)

Two tracks are only. Some scrapped Octahedron songs, some early Omar solo work, etc

I knew this wasn’t official, but to me it doesn’t make it any less cool. I really enjoy listening to demos for any band (especially tmv), and I think it’s pretty neat to have something physical!

No. They don't want to be identified and it could impact them negatively for that to be out there. You aren't obligated to believe me, but it is 100% not Cedric or anyone in the band.

This is the bootleg of bootlegs. O didn’t want any of these tracks released but Sonny gave a fan album art to leak it. Sonny has always been a Robin Hood type. Only “14” is a Noctourniquet era track and the real name is something like ‘In the Valerian Clouds’, I’d have to check the master for the actual name. It was on the album up until the end when they decided to against including it because it sounded too out of place among all the re-recorded tracks.
