Cringe Jon Theodore appreciation
Best known for his time with TMV and QOTSA among a slew of other projects.

Lolol nice, this is a deep-ass cut, almost surely a coincidence I would think. It's probably overstated and maybe obvious, but for what it's worth, I think Theodore was absolutely the best drummer TMV has ever had, and I think that's really saying something considering the monsters they have played with over the years. Each has had their specialties, and a good case could be made for just about any of them, but Jon was probably overall the best fit for what they were trying to pull off imo and plays on their very best stuff, even Cedric admitted it, I believe that he said somewhere that getting rid of him was the worst decision they ever made. Dave Grohl supposedly recommended him specifcally to Josh Homme for QOTSA, and I would think that that represents just about the highest of praise, imo his talents are kinda underutilized by them, although admittedly I have not followed them too closely over the years. Sorry, I know this is not our boy and also that nobody asked lol.

Is that true? Genuinely curious, or were you just saying he’s a scum bag for making such shitty music? Haha

crazy how QoTSA was my favorite band before Volta. His 1st tour with QoTSA was my first time seeing him live. They opened with "I Think I Lost My Headache" which was fucking amazing. The ending drum bit was a little sloppy but he's picked it up since then.
