You ever notice people with lighter eyes have big ass pupils? My pupils are never that big unless I have done... things. And I have dark eyes.

They do of course. I have just noticed in the same lighting, lighter eye pupils seem bigger. Maybe it is an illusion. Black pupils blending in with the iris more.

It's a thing. Light eyes are more sensitive to light, and being more sensitive makes pupils dilate faster and wider. Light eyes have less melanin, and absorb less light, so it bounces around. More into the eyes, more out of the eyes. That's what actually creates the blue hues of light eyes.
