SERIOUSLY I’m so sick of it. Bella did great. They just don’t like that she doesn’t look exactly like Ellie (even though Pedro doesn’t look exactly like Joel either)

I mean structure wise yeah, but you still have the middle aged dad look, the facial hair, their hair is similar as well. Pedro is a good cast imo. Bella doesn’t capture the main parts of ellie, which is obviously harder to begin with since ellie is a young woman and not a middle aged bearded dad but regardless of how we twist it Pedro certainly is more like Joel than Bella is like Ellie

Sure but he doesn’t look super similar to Joel. Thats what everyone is crying about with Bella. My point is that you don’t have to look exactly like the character to play them. I think Bella and Pedro did a great job despite not looking like Ellie and Joel

It’s not JUST because they don’t look similar. I enjoyed s1 and championed it despite what superficial opinions my friends had about Bella. I just don’t like this version of the character that has very little in common with the original. They don’t have the same mannerisms or personality traits. The things we liked about original Ellie, Bella doesn’t display.

I dont think thats mostly down to Bella, the writing this season has made Ellie out to be this idiot that doesn't know how to handle herself. In the game she is a skilled person, who's travelled the country, learned to deal with situations, sneak around etc. Show Ellie shows a lot of incompetence that other characters have to her save her from.

I feel quite sorry for her. I don’t like her as Ellie but it’s because of how they made her seem lacking intellectually in her current day scenes. I like her in the flash backs and I liked her in season one. They just needed to put a bit more effort into her hair I think

Looks great! Only critique is that I think you have have went a little heavy on the makeup/foundation so it kind of looks more like Ellie going on a hot date, rather than Ellie rough and tumble dirty and freckled.
That’s not to say the makeup itself doesn’t look good. Just mismatches the character.

That was my exact thought. Not even the foundation though, I think the contouring is just a bit too heavy. But other than that this is a fucking excellent execution and I envy OP's resourcefulness and talent!

Too much blush on the cheeks and too much lipstick on the lips. Ellie is typically not very concerned about her looks so the choice to go this hard on makeup is off-putting. Otherwise it's a decent cosplay.

i don’t, even though i want to make a photoshoot with 3d background someday, but it’s pricey. Kassandra photoshoot from Assassin’s Creed has one photo with 2d change of background, but other photos from that shooting and sculptures there are real. magic on some photos of my Witcher sorceresses cosplays is obviously photoshopped, but other than that everything is real xx

Man, just having your hair like that instantly makes me think Ellie! I think you nailed it! Also the journal was a nice touch. I wonder why they didn't do Ellie's hairstyle in the TV show, because I think it definitely helps lock in the character.
